This is an invitation to visit and perhaps contribute to a general web site devoted to mycorrhizal symbiosis. The intent is to develop, with your suggestions and assistance, a centralized on-line resource: a sort of global clearing house for organizing and exchanging information of interest to those working with mycorrhizae. Click literature for links to recently published mycorrhizal articles (month-by-month literature search results for the last six months), recent mycorrhizal books and reviews, mycorrhizal bibliographies (citation databases in specific research areas) and recent mycorrhizal student theses and dissertations. The image gallery may become a helpful resource for speakers and teachers wishing to freshen up or refine their presentations and lectures. Job placement and announcement links allow you to share information with your colleagues, about postdoc and student positions, meetings, forthcoming books, etc. Other links currently or could potentially include: on-line mycorrhizal lectures and perhaps a course; keys or a series of photos useful for identification of species and genera; listings of vendors, meetings, on-line journals of particular relevance to mycorrhizists; a mycorrhizal glossary; inoculum information etc. Check the site out (address given on the poster at this meeting, or email me for it at auge@utk.edu); I am open to suggestions. If you think this sort of mycorrhizal resource might be worthwhile, perhaps you would like to adopt a page; develop and maintain a particular feature, housed on my computer or linked to yours. The idea is to enlist the assistance of anyone wishing to participate: the more folks, the stronger and more diverse the resource.
